Compliance and Food Safety
All ceramic products are made from high-quality materials and are suitable for contact with food.
The glazes used are tested in accordance with the applicable European requirements for materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. In particular, the release of lead and cadmium is monitored.
The ceramics comply with the requirements of:
- Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004
- Commodities Ordinance (BedGgstV)
The laboratory tests were carried out by an independent testing laboratory. The measured values are within the legally prescribed limits for ceramics in contact with food.
Conformity applies to all products with the respective tested glazes and materials.
